It was struck between 1908 and 1933. The front of the $20 Saint Gaudens gold coin features Lady Liberty in a flowing gown holding a torch in her right hand and a laurel branch in her left. The reverse features an American Eagle, with the words United States of America and the currency denomination of Twenty Dollars. The $20 Saint Gaudens coin is 90% in purity, with an actual gold content of .9675 troy ounces.
